We are like yin and yang! We have very similar ideas about what we love but also bring our original style and design to our business. We work very well alongside each other and both bring our own strengths to the business.
Tiles by kate has been a long standing institution on the Northern Beaches for over 20 years. Kate was the original owner and Eliza and Georgie (sisters from Adelaide) bought the business from Kate in 2011. Georgie had been working in the business for 10 years and Eliza joined her after returning from living in Hong Kong.
Georgie studied a Bachelor of Interior Design after school and has been working in the industry ever since. She is also an extremely talented florist and worked for Saskia Havekes at Grandiflora for 7 years. Eliza has been in the fashion industry most of her working life. She worked for Belinda Seper in Sydney in high fashion including buying trips to Paris. Since having children Eliza has been more focused on home styling and growing tiles by kate.
